Nagisa Aoi[]
Nagisa was the first to catch Shizuma's attention. She also became the center of envy as well as the attention of the whole student body when Shizuma had greeted her though she was late. At first, Shizuma states that she only wants to play with the girl for a while but it seems to Miyuki Rokujō that she is slowly falling in love with the transfer student. Also, Nagisa was the only person who had persuaded Shizuma from skipping responsibility and to attend the council's meeting.
Miyuki was utterly surprised along with the other council members. As the story progresses, Shizuma was reluctant of her feelings to Nagisa and in the end had made up her mind, that she is in love with her. During the Etoile election, she runs to the venue and makes a sudden entrance by slamming the doors. She walks to the center of the crowd, spreads her arms and shouting her feelings. The whole student body was stunned. Suzumi Tamao secretly smiled and pushed Nagisa to run away with Shizuma and forfeit in the election. Shizuma and Nagisa were running till they reached the woods, made daisy chains then shared a kiss which led to falling to the ground.
Towards the end of the anime, after a series of guilt-ridden conflicts and her own self-discovery, Shizuma realizes she is truly in love with Nagisa.
Miyuki Rokujō[]
In stark contrast to Shizuma's laid back and carefree nature, Miyuki is more serious and dedicated, due to being part of the student council. They've been roommates since their first year in Miator and were always seen hanging out, even before Kaori's passing. In spite of their moments of bantering or when Miyuki has to remind Shizuma of her duties as Etoile, Shizuma overall has a friendly relationship with Miyuki.
